CCEA People

why choose us?

The Cape Careers Exhibitors Association was established in 1990 when a need was recognized that many high school learners are not provided sufficient exposure to Higher Educational Institutions and Further Education and Training Institutions before they make subject and career choices and leave school. From humble beginnings the CCEA has grown and presently has 97 members comprising Universities, Universities of Technology, Further Education and Training Colleges, Private Colleges and Private Providers of Education and Career Training

  • During 2009 approximately 79 000 learners from 300 schools visited or viewed our 115 organised exhibitions
  • During 2010 we saw 74 000 learners and presented exhibitions at 230 schools
  • During 2011 over 67 000 learners visited our 130 exhibitions
  • These exhibitions provide learners much needed information to enable them to make the correct subject-choices, and provide assistance to informed study and careers decisions.
